This class will Focus on Ayurvedic constitutional assessment and the disease assessment of the individual, including constitution and current state of energy balance. The course will include deciding the ideal lifestyle and therapeutic regimen for an individual. This course will include Ayurvedic pulse and tongue assessment skills, along with palpation, voice (Ashtavidha pariksha) and Ayurvedic energy points (Marmas) principles, all in the context of disease. This experiential class is for anyone interested in presenting sound meditation experiences. In this weekend course, you will learn what makes a balanced sonic meditation experience using different types of sonic tools so that you can create your Sound Meditation experience for any occasion. Bring your singing bowls, bells, drums, gongs, tuning forks on the 2nd day to incorporate into the meditation. Especially good for professionals who want to incorporate this sound healing into their practice for the benefit of their patients who experience stress and anxiety. Audit a Class @ Bastyr

Did you know that you (the general public) can take many of the University's regular academic courses, assuming extra seats are available and you have the required prerequisites?

You can either audit classes or take them for credit. These 11-week classes, usually held on weekdays, are available in the nutrition, culinary arts, exercise science, health psychology and herbal sciences programs.
